but a mistake I made consciously. Originally I indented way more web holding her in place, but it would cover up too much of her body and wings so I chose not to paint it that way after all. I chose aesthetics over realism, I know ideally it should be both but eh sometimes things don't work out that way.

I like your interpretation. I try not to use the "but this is fantasy!" argument much when people question things like gravity etc. but I just like the image much better this way.
It took a lot of time, but I think it's one of my best works so far.
