EDIT: Since this came up a few times, yes I do know she looks too relaxed considering the pose she's hanging in, and yes it's a mistake
but a mistake I made consciously. Originally I indented way more web holding her in place, but it would cover up too much of her body and wings so I chose not to paint it that way after all. I chose aesthetics over realism, I know ideally it should be both but eh sometimes things don't work out that way.
When I first started to draw in 2003, I was pretty much obsessed with drawing demonic women (as seen on my 2003 - 2009 timeline
), or precisely women with reptile wings. One of these sketches was the girl in a gothic dress going through a demonic transformation or some kind. I was going though my old sketches thinking about revisiting some of these old ideas, and decided I should redo this one, but in a more mature manner.
