Sometimes I wonder if your gifts ever meant anything more than just the "right thing to do".

The photos used are old, taken with my first 3 MPx digital camera back in 2006.
I'm aware of all the things that look quite unrealistic, like the blood that isn't obeying gravity, or the rose that doesn't fit properly... I'm too tired now to paint the whole thing over.
It's just one of those "I had to get it out of my system" things.

The blood is defying gravity like you say, but had you not mentioned it, it wouldn't have occured to me! I like it, it has a nice symmetry to it, but maybe a little more grungy would have been good
